On March 8, 1991, New Jack City engraved itself in history books for being one of the most spine-chilling films that highlighted a drug-riddled city spiraling out of control. Wesley Snipes was immaculate when he played the role of Nino Brown. His band of misfits – notoriously known as the Cash Money Brothers – instilled fear in the eyes of many because of their scare tactics and ruthless acts of violence. The battle between Nino Brown as New York City’s crime lord and Ice T-‘s character Scotty Appleton, the everyday good guy was epic and will always be remembered.
