West Coast Hip Hop Getting New Biopic

The N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is on the heels of a higher than expected first week of box office sales, earning $60M at the box office. Not only are hip hip aficionados digging the film, but Hollywood movie critics are raving over the final product. Producers in the industry want to mimic this success with a new movie on hip hop.

According to Daz from the Dogg Pound, producers are continuing where Straight Outta Compton left off by making a film based on what happened in West Coast hip hop after the movie’s final scene. The new film has received blessings from Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, and the latter’s son will appear in the movie. TMZ reports the new flick will follow the lives of Snoop, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Daz and Warren G., while hinting Tupac and Suge Knight will also have focus. Stay tuned!
