During the 90’s, there were a bevy of centers who thrived in the paint, one being Patrick Ewing. The former Georgetown Hoya was the consummate big-man. He had a nice touch from 15 feet and was a human fly-swatter. Without question, Ewing was the heart of New York. Even though Patrick lost to the likes of Hakeem, Jordan, and Reggie Miller back in the day, Ewing’s sheer determination has always been admired by all.
