Even though some artists have been heavily criticized for it, there are a lot of rappers in the game who have used other writers to pen their biggest hits. Whether they get the credit that they deserve or not, some of our favorite rap songs from over the decades have actually been the work of other rappers that we know and love. Ironically enough, some rappers who wrote for others even had their own songs written by writers themselves, and the cycle seems to just continue.

Kanye West’s “Champion”
Consequence admitted in an interview 2011 that he was behind a lot of our favorite rhymes that go into Kanye’s “Champion” track off of his Graduation album. The producer has reportedly done other writings for `Ye, but hasn’t received some of the proper credit that he feels he’s earned.
Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.”
While there’s some foggy mirrors as to whether Hov has written all of his own songs, he actually did a lot of writing for others, including the Dr. Dre’s verses on his smash track “Still D.R.E.” off of his 2001 album.
