Conservative: Common is definitely the conservative choice for Chicago. The rapper has found wealth in film, and could use his role in ‘Selma’ as inspiration to help him lead his city. Common has always been vocal in expressing where his community needs help, and he’d definitely excel as a leader.

Liberal: Lupe Fiasco is as political as it comes as far as rappers go. The “Cool” rapper still speaks up for the streets in his music, and is still grounded to represent his community from a liberal perspective.

Independent: Chief Keef is a polarizing figure to the city’s youth, and many attribute violence to his music. We’re not saying we agree with that notion, but if anyone has a chance at stopping gang and youth violence it’s Chi-town…it’s Keef.
