Over the weekend the hip-hop community lost a friend and a great artist — Sean Price of the Boot Camp Click and one half of the duo, Heltah Skeltah. Sean was loved and will be missed by so many. Going by the stage name of Rucks, he was was known for his stage performance and lyrical performance. Sean was considered an underground legend and, in 1996, both Sean and his partner Rock would release their debut LP project, Nocturnal which went on to sell well over 250,000 copies.

This is a big lost for the hip-hop community and it’s ironic how his debut record title relates to Sean’s passing as he passed away in his sleep. May he rest in peace and his family stays strong.
