It looks like Rick Ross may be leaving Def Jam Records for a new home at Epic Records. Rozay posted a suspicious picture on his Instagram page today with himself and Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid smiling and embracing. Both pictures caused music industry insiders to talk and, within the pics, Rozay is not confirming anything. However, his actions has everyone making assumptions.

Back in 2014, Rozay released two critically-acclaimed albums in one year, Mastermind and Hood Billionaire. Now that he may be leaving Def Jam Records, it appears the reason he released both records was to expedite and opt out of his seven album contract that he had with Def Jam. No word from Rick Ross if the move is definite. Any news is good news for Rick Ross right now since he’s had so much negative publicity lately. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
