Rap has been blessed to see a lot of talent come together and form some unstoppable groups, and while the 90’s was jam-packed with some of the best, there were also some that aren’t typically mentioned to this day. While A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, and the Beastie Boys were getting a ton of well-deserved shine, and still are credited to this day as legends; others seem to typically be missed from those conversations.

Black Moon

Buckshot, 5ft and DJ Evil Dee made up Black Moon, which came out of Brooklyn, New York. It stood for Brothers who Lyrically Act and Combine Kickin Music Out On Nations.


You probably remember some of the hits that EPMD put out, which included Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith bringing some heat.
