Republican Presidential candidate, Ben Carson, has taken things a step further with his campaign this week, as he’s released a rap ad that he hopes will lure in black voters. While the idea is already eyebrow-raising enough, the ad itself might be one of the worst things to come out of this upcoming election so far, if you can believe it. Carson recruited Atlanta rapper, Aspiring Mogul, to spit on the advertisement, and even his rhymes are quite sub-par.

Brooklyn rapper Talib Kweli spoke out about the ad, which he disapproved of as a way to garner in votes. “The most effective way for Ben Carson to reach out to young black voters is to actually care about other Black people, which Ben Carson has proven to be incapable of,” Kweli says. “When you say things like ‘Obamacare is the worst thing that’s happened to America since slavery’ and describe the youth-driven Black Lives Matter as ‘sickening’ and accuse them of ‘bullying’ people, who cares about your Rap ad?” he explained. Listen to the ad for yourself below.
