Kevin Durant Edges out LeBron James For NBA MVP Award

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant will be named the 2013-14 NBA MVP. The five time league all-star lead his team to a 59-23 record, averaging 32 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

NBA Superstar Lebron James, the only strong contender for the award said,

“Kudos to him. Much respect to him. He deserved it. He had a big-time MVP season.”

Durant also won his fourth NBA scoring title, leading the NBA in scoring with 40 points in over 14 games this season. Congrats Kevin! Good luck in the playoff against the Los Angeles Clippers.
