Kansas City Chiefs Safety Eric Berry Grabs His First Interception Since Cancer Diagnosis

On Sunday, the sports world was rocked by the passing of NBA coach, Flip Saunders. Saunders, 60, died from complications of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma — a form of cancer. While his untimely demise certainly instilled a sense of melancholy throughout the realm of sports, Kansas City Chiefs safety, Eric Berry helped provide a sense of nostalgia. Last season, Berry sat out a large portion of the season to fight his battle with cancer. Fortunately, he was able to recover and make it back for the Chiefs this season.
