While there has been a lot of outrage pertaining to this year’s Oscar’s, a lot of people are curious as to what will unfold at the 2016 Grammy’s. Record of the Year: Taylor Swift – “Blank Space”
The Taylor train continues to accelerate past detractors and with her latest endeavor 1989 being laced with pure gold, including “Blank Space,” we think Taylor will hoist the coveted trophy this year.
Album of the Year: Kendrick Lamar – To Pimp a Butterfly
When an album is able to push boundaries and have you question the social injustices occurring in America, you have to give the artist ample credit for producing such art with his or her canvas. Kendrick was able to script the struggle of a black man’s plight and inject hope in the lives of many. Consider this the soundtrack to any minorities life.
