Another scandal that used to be a bigger deal was when she was rumored to be dating JAY Z. Speculation surfaced after the two allegedly met when she was reportedly 17 years old, but it looks like that would mean she was 19 years old at the time, and of legal age. It also means that there is a 10-year difference between the couple, as opposed to a 12-year difference, which became controversial before their official marriage.

Overall, the idea of Beyonce being two years older than she actually is may not be the biggest difference in the world, but it certainly can change the outlook many might have had of her back in the day. Her career is proof, however, that she has been killing it at any age, and will continue to do so as she grows older.
