Make it rain!
It’s not uncommon for rappers and those who are just breaking into the hip-hop industry to come from humble beginnings. In fact, that seems to be the common denominator among the big names in rap. So when rappers do make it big, it’s important for them to remember where they came from ― and many of them are criticized for seeming to forget.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again has his rise to riches right there in his rapper name. Even though he hasn’t absolutely made it to the top of the top yet, he’s already made a pretty big name for himself in the hip-hop world. Though he hasn’t yet broken into the complete mainstream, he’s already dedicating himself to giving back to his community and he’s starting with the people in his neighborhood. No, he’s not building houses or feeding the homeless. Instead, he’s just handing out wads of cash. Hey, that’s one way to do it!
YoungBoy Never Broke Again just dropped his AI YoungBoy project, and announced his 38 Baby 2 mixtape, so he definitely has his hands full. And if there’s one thing that no one has to question, it’s that YoungBoy has some seriously obsessed fans.
YoungBoy is known for having violent and dark lyrics, so maybe that’s something that gets fans really excited to get their hands on him. Whatever it is, a recent Instagram video shows just how desperate they are to get their personal time with him… with and without his clothes on.
In the video, YoungBoy leaps into the crowd and fans struggle to touch him. You can see fans stroking his hair, neck, and face. If that wasn’t already up close and personal, they really took it to the next level when they pulled his pants off while he tried to run away. In the next clip, he’s darting away from his fans as they run after him, and it couldn’t be more obvious that his fanbase is very dedicated. Well, it looks like YoungBoy decided to give back.
Make it Rain
YoungBoy is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and he decided to go back to his old neighborhood to give back. Rumor is that he threw $20,000 in cash into the crowd, but it’s not clear how much he actually threw. Either way, it’s obvious that YoungBoy has a lot of love for his roots and that throwing money to his former neighbors is the best he has way to express it.
No matter what you think about YoungBoy, you can see the excitement and glee on the people’s faces as they go absolutely nuts in the crowd, particularly the children. Whether this was an attempt to give back, or just because YoungBoy likes being chased by huge groups of people, it looks like most people came out of the day a little bit better off. Check out the video below.
Youngboy was arrested last year in connection with a drive-by shooting in Baton Rouge. After posting bail and being released, he changed his name from NBA YoungBoy to YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and brought his first album, most of which he wrote while he was behind bars, out to the people. And now it looks like he’s trying to give more than just music.
