What a shame… Young Thug has found himself on the long list of stars who have been scammed for their money. The “Patek Water” rapper is countersuing Heritage Select Homes, claiming the company knowingly sold him a mansion that was falling apart.
Million Dollar Listing
Heritage Select Homes sued Young Thug back in March 2017, after he failed to make his final payment of $2.2 million on the buy last year.
The mansion — which Thug originally bought for about $2.4 million — has six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a four-car garage. The 11,000 sq. ft. home also features a theater room, an indoor pool, a few walk out balconies and patios as well as a full bar.
Regardless, the Jeffery rapper feels like he shouldn’t have to pay a dime, claiming the company tricked him. He’s filed a motion to have Heritage’s lawsuit dismissed alongside filing a counterclaim, alleging fraud and seeking unspecified damages.
“At all times relevant to this action, Counterclaim-Defendant was well aware that the Property suffered from substantial defects,” the suit began before citing “moisture damage in the soffits of the home,” “significant gaps in the subfloor,” and “moisture stains and cracking in ceilings.”
The paperwork also claimed the house suffered “foundational damage and settling in home and garage, including major settling cracks and settling damage in the basement area,” “mold activity in the basement below the indoor pool,” and “rusted metal support beams in basement.”
How did all of these major issues get missed in the home inspection, you ask? According to Thugger, Heritage coaxed his real estate agent into hiring an inspection firm to perform a fake inspection. The artist claims that the home’s issues became overtly apparent shortly after he moved in. So, he hired a second inspector, who found the list of issues included in Thug’s countersuit.
Some Karma, anyone?
Thug clearly doesn’t like being the victim. Surely, his fiancée, Jerrika Karlae, can relate. Less than six months ago, Karlae posted what appeared to be illicit texts between her long-term bae Thugger and some other woman, captioned, “some friend I have.”
“N**gas be wanting they b***h to look bad because of the sick s**t they be doing in the dark #dontgetmadwhenipullayouonyou,” she wrote on Snapchat shortly afterwards. She shared several images of the side women that Thug was allegedly seeing too.
The side girl didn’t step up until The Shade Room reposted Karlae’s receipts.
“B***h, you so lame for posting my picture, you insecure b***h,” Amy Luciani (the side girl) wrote on Instagram. “You going through Thug phone for what? H*e, you’re not his girlfriend. You real petty but, one thing about it, I’m not an internet thug. Calling me a ‘man’ but I took your man.”
“Jerrika calling me a side piece,” she continued on her own Snapchat. “How I’m a side piece to the side piece? As if myself nor Thug has time to entertain your foolishness. Remember, it’s two sides to every story, simple b***h. Then you’re playing on my phone at 4 AM. Thug, get her.”
Thug hit back with a public apology. “Gimme a chance. I promise I won’t mess up no more,” he said. “Everybody tell her to give me one chance. Tell her to give me one more chance and I promise I won’t mess up again. I promise.”
Unfortunately, Thug ended up threatening Karlae’s life. So, that didn’t end well for anyone…
