It's time to move on.
If you love turning up, then, more than likely, you’ve attempted to hit the dab this year either at a party, a celebratory event, or other things that require a lot of enthusiasm. The dab has turned into a huge dance craze that swept the nation, which was mostly thanks to the rap group Migos. Like all trends, there comes a time when everyone needs to stop following it, but you won’t believe why you need to stop this time.
Everyone and their mother has been hitting the dab this year.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re aware of how big the dabbing sensation has become in the dance world. It’s a simple move that doesn’t take any serious choreography, but it definitely was not made for everyone. Even Bill Gates gave it a chance, and let’s just say that he should stick to being an engineering genius.
Quavo of Migos dropped a bomb about the dance move.
Quavo of Migos recently spoke out on the sensation that is the dab, as his group helped the dance move become a phenomenon with their single “B**ch Dab” earlier this year. He told TMZ that the sensation needs to come to an end because it has been played out.
Quavo agrees with Cam Newton that the dab is dead.
The rapper told TMZ, “You got to give everybody a new trend, a new wave or something new to do so I feel him on that. Everybody was copying it and now it’s time to switch lanes.” Apparently, the group may have another trendy dance move to spread, as he revealed, “We ain’t gon’ tell you because we know y’all gon’ take it, bite it and re-write it. But you know, we’ll come out with something new.”
