Get it together, fellas.
Trey Songz tends to keep a pretty clean image for himself, and he does his best to stay out of trouble aside from a few bad encounters. The singer has been working hard on his music, and catering to his huge female fan base, but, now, he may have to take care of something more serious. Trigga and his former landlord have been going back and forth in court for some time, but now things have come to a head between them.
Trey Songz rented a Bell Canyon pad back in 2014
Trey Songz was living lavishly in a rented house out in the California city, but, unfortunately, things didn’t go so well when he moved out. Reports say that the singer was pretty upset to find out that he wasn’t going to be given back his $44,000 security deposit that he paid when he first signed the pad’s lease.
He sued the landlord after he never got the security deposit back
The singer filed a lawsuit against the landlord to try and get the security deposit returned, but it has not been working out in his favor. Unfortunately, the landlord has no plans to give him back the security deposit, and believes that there was actually more than $44,000 worth of damages to the house when Trey moved out.
The landlord now claims that Trey trashed the place
According to TMZ, the damages include “130 broken tiles, carpet odors from pets, damage done to the movie theater, destroyed pool table felt, and a completely wrecked bowling alley.” That definitely does sound like more than $44,000 to us.
