The worst albums of all time
Ice Cube – I Am the West
Ice Cube said that this album would be different from prior ones and boy was he right. Critics said that the album was a little too one-sided on the West Coast and needed a little help from different artists. They also said the album stood in its own lane of “middle-aged hip-hop.” Ouch.
Redman – Reggie
This album wasn’t recorded by Redman. Instead, it was recorded by Reggie Noble, Redman’s alter ego. That’s also his government name. Fans were not feeling this one as the songs were more poppish than hardcore and laid over bigger beats.
Jay-Z (with R. Kelly) – Unfinished Business
You would think that with the success of Best of Both Worlds, these two would have an even better follow-up album. Nope, that wasn’t the case. Unfinished Business featured tracks leftover from their first project with a few additions. After issues regarding business ensued, the duo would never make music together again.
