Safaree throws shade!
Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, Safaree, is throwing some serious shade. In an interview with Wendy Williams, he shared that he is waiting to get paid for the work he did with Nicki Minaj on The Pinkprint.
He didn’t stop there. He took to social media, posting an Instagram video expressing his frustrations again.
Is there really something here, or is Safaree just in his feelings after their break up? Check out the story!
In an interview with Wendy Williams, Safaree took shots at Nicki Minaj. He claims that he deserves to be compensated for his work on Nicki Minaj’s 2014 record The Pinkprint.
We don’t know exactly what work he is looking to be compensated for, as he isn’t very specific. He says he is owed for his work in the “creative process.” Riiight.
Collaborative or nah?
Why this clown had an interview with Wendy Williams, I don’t know.
Safaree claims that he was involved in the entire creation of the album… up until he and Nicki split, which happened before the album’s release.
In the interview, he told Wendy, “As far as that whole process goes, it was a collaborative process,” he said. “She doesn’t sit there and do absolutely nothing, but I definitely was a helping force in everything that had to do with creating music.”
It’s Only Fair
Safaree says that all he is looking for is some money, that’s it! “It’s only fair,” he told Wendy.
To make things more embarrassing for himself, Safaree tried to give Wendy a hypothetical comparison to relate to: “Suppose you went and you worked on the Wendy show for a good eight [or] nine months, and then at the end of the nine months, the show blows up,” he said.
