While it looked like Kenya Moore was on her way out the door, the Georgia Peach may have just saved herself.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 10 reunion show was filmed yesterday (March 15), and, according to lovebscott.com‘s source, it was one to see. The insider gushed a little bit about each housewife — Cynthia, Porsha, NeNe, Kandi, Sheree, Kim and Kenya — but made sure to share the major bomb the last-mentioned dropped on viewers.
Fans knew something big went down, as the Deliver Us From Eva actress herself teased about it. “#GotTheseGirlsShook,” she wrote on her Instagram story alongside the hashtags “#gathered” and “#myjobisdone.”
Sharing the News
The reality show’s production team was quite upset with Kenya. The star not only got married in secret, but she also failed to coax her new husband, Marc Daly, into being on camera. On the heels of rumors that Kenya wouldn’t see season 11 comes news of new life.
Lovebscott.com‘s person-on-the-inside told the outlet that Kenya revealed she’s pregnant.
She has been playing coy with the good news for the past few weeks now. During an interview with Wendy Williams, she gracefully ducked and dogged is-there-a-baby-or-is-there-not questions. Kenya told the host that she would share her news with the public at her own time.
She maneuvered around pregnancy questions once again at an Oscar party. Accompanied by her husband-of-less-than-a-year, Kenya was asked if fans could expect a new edition soon, but she skillfully changed the subject.
The alleged mommy-to-be — who is said to be due before the end of 2018 — definitely saved her spot on the show with this one (and Daly’s recent change-of-heart about to being filmed). So, she’ll live to see another fight between her co-stars.
“A Blessing from God”
In other reality television related news, Ray J and his pregnant wife Princess accidentally let the gender of their unborn baby slip. According to TMZ, Ray J and Princess’ registry for their upcoming baby shower is a tell-tell sign of their unborn child’s gender. The parents-to-be requested things like a cashmere baby basket, a travel crib, a rocking sheep and, of course, tons of onesies and outfits. The extravagant gifts — which are said to be mostly pink — reportedly range from $25 to $2800.
It seems the stars are sparing no expense for their first child. The shower itself is rumored to cost over a quarter of a million dollars. The $250,000 event will reportedly take place this weekend in Los Angeles at a “top-of-the-line hotel,” a vest difference from the shower Princess’ mom threw the couple.
The alleged baby girl is expected to be born sometime this summer. The reality star said he and Princess kept their news a secret for quite a while because they were superstitious about announcing the pregnancy too early.
“It’s such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child,” Princess wrote on her Instagram. “We kept this to ourselves until after the first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early. But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all of the love and prayers.“
