It looks like Remy Ma and Papoose might be expecting. The potentially soon-to-be proud papa posted a few photos to Instagram that were less than subtle about the possibility that a baby is on the way.
Papoose’s first post showed the sign for an ultrasound waiting room.
“🙏🏿 #blacklove How we started our day!,” the rapper captioned the post.
Later in the day, Pap shared a shot of himself and Remy at pottery class. He was breaking the first rule of pottery class (no Ghost-ing) but given the happy news, we’ll let him have this one.
“Hand made these bowls, for our unborn child. #pottery #blacklove,” he wrote.
Remy Ma famously documented herself and Papoose dealing with the emotional fallout from suffering a miscarriage on Love & Hip Hop: New York. She talked it out with her fans on social media and vowed to try again.
“First, thank you to everyone that sent their congrats as well as condolences. This was a hard time for me & my husband & we thought long and hard before deciding to share this part of our lives with you all,” Remy said on Instagram. She added:
“I was totally against it but in a fit of crying @papoosepapoose said ‘you are not the only one going thru this , we will get thru it’ …made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don’t have a strong partner by their side to say it will be alright. So I’m here to tell anyone going thru a similar situation that it is not over and God has the last say.”
Remy then thanked the staff who helped her through the procedure and said she wasn’t giving up on having a child with Papoose.
“Thank you to the staff at the hospital I was in; you all were super nice & respectful and did everything to ensure I was comfortable,” she said. “And to Dr. Razmzan , who came to perform my surgery at 5am, who tried his best to leave me scarless and succeeded, who eased any fears I had- THANK YOU, & don’t retire yet cuz once we find the right in vitro dr you have to deliver my babies.”
It looks like they might have found it. And Remy should know some great IVF doctors. Since her tragic incident, she’s started a fund to help women who can’t afford fertility treatments.
Outside of getting busy, Remy has kept herself occupied with a year-long beef with Nicki Minaj. She recently added a few more digs at the star to her repertoire in the song “Wake Me Up.”
She rapped “that crown I’m gon take that s**t/Cause you a clown and homey don’t play that s**t” and “I heard he lay that d**k/You let them filet that fish/You just met him how he bae that quick?” in clear shots at Nicki. The bars came well after Remy dismantled the rapper in a long diss track called “Shether.”
