Who knew scooters were so expensive?
Ray J is known for two things: “One Wish” and screwing people. So, is it any surprise that the singer might have pulled a fast one on a potential partner. According to TMZ, Ray J is being sued from trying to muscle a friend out a cut of his electric scooter business.
Not one word of that is made up,
Via the outlet:
“A guy named Jean Paul claims back in 2015 he and Ray talked about firing up a business to market electric scooter bikes… He says he was shocked to learn Ray secretly launched a competing business to ace Jean Paul out … thus the $30 million lawsuit, filed by his attorney, Sarah Cabarcas-Osman from the Berman Law Group.”
Jean Paul claims that they agreed to start the business and that Ray J’s word along with his reach was enough to convince Paul to start a business. However, Ray never actually came into the fold and Paul is mad about it to the tune of $30 million. In the suit, he takes several shots at Ray J, saying that he “arguably maintains a certain level of celebrity” that would have been useful in their planned business venture.
Ray J has not responded to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit comes at an inopportune time for the reality show star. He recently announced on the talk show The Real that he was expecting a child.
“Let me just tell you something about love,” the singer told the hosts. “Love is on my mind. Love is in my heart. Princess and I are expecting.”
Ray J’s lady Princess Love was also ecstatic about the news.
“It’s such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child,” she wrote on her Instagram. “We kept this to ourselves until after the first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early. But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all of the love and prayers.“
The news is surprising given that Princess Love and Ray J have had issues in the past with Ray’s possible philandering. The couple also struggled to conceive, with cameras there to document their every step.
However, Ray has said that he turned over a new leaf and is ready for his new life with Princess.
“The main thing for me is just her being happy. I had my fun and I survived it. A lot of people don’t survive. They get caught up in it,” he told People. “There were so many people pulling us. Now I don’t really think about sex and groupies. I used to turn up all day and love it and own it.”
“I decided to just change up for her and it’s been great,” he said of the decision to lay off the sauce. “It’s been a 360-degree turnaround without the alcohol. I changed up my environment and started to become the person that I felt was the best me I could be.”
But it looks like parts of Ray’s past aren’t ready to stay buried.
