Queens dudes stay shirtless
Ray J is a famous little brother. You’d think his status would mean he knows how to take a joke at his expense. But a new video from Instagram comedian Queenz Flip shows that Ray doesn’t care if it’s a prank, bro.
The R&B singer got into it with the comedian after he found the man in his studio. Ray J walks in carrying a French Bulldog, like you do, and found the comedian in his studio shirtless. Queenz repeatedly insisted that he was about to jump on Ray J’s song and refused to take no for answer. But first, Ray J had a very serious question.
“Why this n*gga got his shirt off?” he asked.
Flip attributed his half-dressed state to being from Queens and kept it moving.
“I’m about to get on this record,” he said, while tinkering with the audio files of a song in progress. “I’m on this. I’m on it. I’m dead serious. I’m on your record.”
“Who is this n*gga?” asks a clearly confused Ray J. “Where the engineer at?”
When Ray tries to pull Queenz away from the console, the comedian swatted him away and the mood clearly shifted.
“For real? Like that?” Ray J said. “You in my session, my n*gga.”
After some further pushing and shoving, eventually Ray J tackles Queenz onto the studio couch before the video cuts out.
The stunt is similar to one that that comedian pulled inside Champions Pizza. After standing up and slamming his friend into the table where he was seated, he barged behind the counter and attempted to make his own pizza while the staff tried to stop him. The clip in general is similar to a wave of Instagram stunts where personalities walk behind counters in restaurants and flagrantly steal food and other items.
He also likes to act incredulous in the captions of his increasingly bizarre and confrontational stunts. For example, in the Ray J bit he wrote this:
“THIS N*GGA @rayj GOT MAD BECAUSE @evey232 BROUGHT ME TO THE STUDIO AND I TRIED TO GET ON HIS RECORD!!! ITS JUST A SONG N*GGA CHILL OUT”
As for Ray J, he’s been busy both with new music and with working on an upcoming hip-hop musical. Boosie Badazz shared that he’s starring in a new musical called Thugs & The Women Who Love Them and the play will focus on a rivalry between himself and Ray.
“It’s a crazy play, good from the start to curtain call,” Boosie told VIBE. “[Thugs & The Women Who Love Them] is a different kind of musical. It’s not a boring play that you would go to. It was written perfectly… I’m a give y’all this hint: Me and Ray J are beefing in there. So, Ray J my enemy in there. First we were business partners, then we become enemies.”
In addition to Ray, the play also stars Lyfe Jennings, K Michelle and Karlie Redd.
