Nowadays rappers seem to come and go left and right. One day someone is huge with a hit song, the next you don’t even remember what their name was. It can be a tough job having to stay on top the charts with your music being played. Check out some rappers who have had an interesting path from the top to the bottom.
J-Hood was always a part of the hip-hop scene, but after he moved from North Carolina to Yonkers, things changed. He was working with the Ryf Ryders trio and The Lox at the time, but he kept delaying album releases. This ended up in him being dropped like a hot potato.
B. Rich was a hit with his album 80 Dimes back in 2002, but after that he fell off the face of the earth with mediocre tracks and bad management.
Another one of the Ruff Ryders crew, Yung Wun was a southern rapper with style. His best song was his single “Tear It Up” back in 2004, but after that he was deemed a huge flop.
