Plies Part II

The altercation was common knowledge to anyone with an ear towards the hiphop community within hours of it happening. Plies posted a response video to Instagram, saying that there was no security. He also sent a message to his own security, saying, “And my security… I’m about tired of you muthaf–kers.

“This the third time this week I done got slammed at the club. Ni–a done slammed me by my muthaf–kin neck, knocked my muthaf–kin fitted cap off. knocked my muthaf–kin spinal cord outta place. If I get paralyzed they gon call me Paralyzed Plies. I’m sick of you muthaf–kas.”

ILOVEMAKONNEN had the club going up on a Tuesday (because of course) in 2014, until he was pulled off stage and hit by a fan. He was performing “Tuesday” at SOB, a live music venue in NYC, with Rae Sremmurd. After reaching down to shake the hand of a fan, the “fan” pulled him down to his feet and hit him several times. The still-unnamed guy got away untouched, though someone did go after him.

Gracefully, ILOVEMAKONNEN finished his performance that night and had nothing but love to give afterwards. He tweeted “all love here” and “the hate real but the love realer and stronger.”
