Rappers and planes don't mix
With all the buzz about the United Airlines employees over booking a flight then dragging a doctor out of his seat, we decided to tie that into hip-hop. We took a look back, digging deep into the archives, and sure enough, there are plenty of rappers who have been in similar situations.
The difference is that these famous rappers and singers were just being knuckleheads. Does that surprise anyone?
Machine Gun Kelly
MGK had some trouble back in 2015 when he tried to board a plane with his guitar. Apparently, the TSA officer tried to compare the words on his guitar to 9/11… That’s a reach.
Offset, a rapper from the group Migos, had some issues at an airport recently. Offset boarded the flight, but he was talking on the phone even after they said no cell phone usage, so American Airlines threw him off. He didn’t like that…
After he was thrown out, the rapper responded by ranting:
“F**k American Airlines, *** kicked me off the plane for motherf***ing talking on the phone. And he was a black n**a. Don’t get mad at me cause you work at the airport.”
