Migos always getting into it
Migos can’t seem to keep themselves out of trouble, but considering their recent track record, maybe they don’t want to. In the latest reports about the rap trio, Quavo got into a little altercation at a Grammys after-party.
At 1 Oak nightclub in New York City, a scuffle between him and Eric Da Jeweler — the self-proclaimed “Best Jeweler in the World,” whose clientele list has names like 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, T.I. and French Montana — caught everyone’s attention.
It’s probably safe to assume that though Quavo was a customer of Eric’s, he isn’t anymore.
Quavo Vs. Eric Da Jeweler
Around 4:30 a.m., the two were in the club when words were exchanged between Quavo and Eric about money that was apparently owed to Eric by the rapper. At some point, the situation took a violent turn, resulting in Quavo and another unidentified individual jumping Da Jeweler. Eric reportedly left the club immediately afterwards, with minor injuries to his face and (most likely) a bruised ego.
As he was exiting the club, Eric noticed that his $30,000 chain was missing. The celebrity jewelry has since filed a robbery report for his missing chain with the police department.
Reportedly, the NYPD wants to talk to each member of the Migos group, along with their manager. Part of their investigation may include a review of the security cam footage recorded at the club that night.
Quavo & Offset Vs. Large Man
This incident occurred a couple months after Quavo and Offset got into it with another individual after a show at the Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert in New York. The altercation involved the two Migos members, a man bigger than both of them combined, and a few more hand-throwers who seemed to be squadded up with the Migos. It occurred outside the W Hotel, but it is unclear how it started or exactly how it ended. (Watch the video of the fight above.)
Yet another couple of beefs sparked before that at the 2017 BET Awards back in June. Two hostile interactions occurred that evening, one between Migos and Joe Budden and the other between Migos and Chris Brown.
Migos Vs. Joe Budden
At the time, Joe Budden made it quiet clear that he was not the biggest fan of Migos. He openly criticized the trio on all of his outlets, such as his podcast and the show he formerly co-hosted with DJ Akademiks and Nadeska Alexis, Everyday Struggle.
During an interview with Migos, Budden followed up a host of patronizing facial expressions by saying they had to start wrapping up the interview. “Wrap it up then,” Quavo responded.
During the interview’s final moments, DJ Akademiks mentions that the Migos are one of his favorite groups, to which Budden responds by standing up, dropping his mic, and walking out of frame. In turn, all three Migos members stood up, dropping their mics and giving the impression that they were prepared to run that fade.
After multiple people stepped in to break up the tension, the film cuts out. However, the beef didn’t end there. Most recently, Migos called Joe out in their project, Quality Control. Watch the video above.
