P. Diddy and the rest of the Bad Boy Family are back in effect with their reunion tour and it’s already starting off in a major way. The concert, which was supposed to start August 2016, was delayed due to Puffy’s shoulder surgery. Now, the head honcho is healed and the tour started rolling on September 1 in Chicago.
The tour features a full roster of past and present artists on the Bad Boy label. Old school members like Faith Evans, 112, Lil’ Kim, Total, Ma$e, Carl Thomas, The Lox and French Montana have been bringing all types of vibrations to the crowds since the tour began. And that’s not all. Though that’s a long list of artists, Diddy’s invited more familiar faces to join them onstage.
Diddy was full of surprises during opening night at Chicago’s United Center. Before the show, all of the artists gathered in a prayer that was led by none other than rapper DMX. The Snapchat video showed everyone bowing their heads as DMX said, “We thank you for this gathering of souls. We thank you for your presence. We ask that your grace and blessings are upon the show this evening.” Later on in the show, DMX came out, rapping some of his hits.
But this is only the tip of the iceberg. Of course Diddy couldn’t perform in Chicago without bringing out a few hometown homies…
Chicago Natives Turn Up
Chicago native Chance the Rapper surprised the audience when he came onstage to perform “No Problem.” After Chance performed, he introduced Jeremih to the stage. The Chicago native performed a couple of his songs, including his hot hit, “Oui.”

NYC Gets A Surprise
During their NYC stop, Diddy surprised fans with Kanye West. Kanye, decked in all white, appeared on stage in the darkness and performed “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.” The crowd went crazy, as expected.
