Austin Post, better known by his stage name “Post Malone,” had a huge hit a couple of years ago named “White Iverson.” The song jumpstarted his career, and he’s made a ton off of the song all by itself. He’s taken the opportunity and ran with it, and it looks like a great decision for his future. He’s not only going on to do more rap, but he also wants to get into more country and rock music. When it comes to rap, would he ever want an NBA star like Kobe Bryant to be involved?
Post Malone is a very outspoken 21-year-old rapper from New York, and this time around he’s said something that a lot of people might not want to hear. The situation revolves around his super hit song “White Iverson” where he calls himself a white version of NBA superstar hall-of-famer Allen Iverson.
TMZ caught up with Post Malone recently, and he was talking on the topic of doing a “White Iverson” remix. He started thinking about which NBA star had the possibility of hopping on the song with him, and let’s just say that Kobe Bryant definitely isn’t one of them.

When he was asked about his favorite NBA rappers, he listed names like Iman Shumpert, Lance Stephenson, and Allen Iverson. However, at the end he said “I don’t know about Kobe… Shaq was nice!” Yikes! After all the drama between Shaq and Kobe back in the day, Post Malone may have just thrown some more fire into the mix.
