He should have known better
One thing about hip-hop… It’s one big family, a close-knit, don’t-f**k-with-it, we-fight-with-each-other-but-outsiders-can’t family. When George Zimmerman threatened Jay-Z, Snoop jumped in to defend him. When Meek Mill was sentenced to prison, Jay-Z infamously defended him.
And now, after a reporter came for P. Diddy, Nipsey Hussle has clapped back.
The Biggest Dreams
In October, when the NFL protests were more heated than they are now, Diddy sent everyone a shock to the system. “I did have a dream to own a NFL team but now my dream is to own our own league!” he tweeted.
“A league where you can be yourself. Have a retirement plan,” he continued. “Have freedom to be a great human and protest for your people without being demonized for your beliefs as a KING!! NEW DREAM ALERT!!!!”
The 32 NFL owners totally ignored his “dream,” but the internet didn’t. Diddy’s tweets posed one vital question: Can Diddy really afford to buy the NFL?
Tell us how you really feel
Fast forward to this past weekend — after news that Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson was selling the team — Diddy revealed that he wanted to buy the Panthers and (the single most vital ‘and’ ever) welcome Colin Kaepernick back into the league.
Regardless of whether or not the deal goes through, and regardless of whether Diddy can actually afford it or no, one particular reporter over stepped his bounds. During his channel’s sports segment, “The World According to Darya,” KRON-TV’s Henry Wofford bashed and discredited Diddy’s efforts.
After saying that Puff can’t afford a purchase like the Carolina Panthers, he said that he’s not taking his pitch seriously. “The guy looks high right there in this video,” Wofford said. “He looks like he smoked a blunt and drank a 40. Come on, I’m not taking him seriously.”
And because hip-hop is hip-hop, everyone should have expected a clap-back.
TMZ caught Nipsey Hussle outside of Catch in Los Angeles, and he gave Wofford a piece of his mind.
“F*ck the n***a that was doubtin’ them on the news, woofin’ that sh*t. We gon’ catch you and beat yo ass, n***a,” he threatened. “Got some homegirls for that b**ch, too!”
