Nicki Minaj Surprises Fans with Album Release

For the past few months, Nicki Minaj has been teasing fans with the the release of her upcoming album, QUEEN, and they haven’t been more excited. But earlier this month, Nicki let fans down when she revealed clearance issues with one of her songs that’s sampled by singer Tracy Chapman. But this morning, the joke was on us when Nicki totally blindsided us.

Last night, Nicki hosted a star-studded listening party for QUEEN. Among guests were Karen Civil, Lauren London, Cassie, Sevyn Streeter, and Kim Kardashian. This morning, Nicki shocked TF out of fans when she posted the tracklist of her album with the caption, “#Queen 9AMPST/12EST.” Fans went berserk to see that Nicki was dropping her album earlier than her August 17.
