Nicki Minaj may seem like she’s all innocent, but some gossip has come out recently that begs to differ. The 34-year-old rapper from Queens has been through some tough times, and one of her former running mates confessed some things about her that might surprise you.

Nicki was born to a her father addicted to alcohol and drugs with a very violent temper. When she was younger, in 1987, he burned down their home in 1987.
She may have taken after him, as it seems like she turned out to be a little lawbreaker herself.

In her earlier career, she rapped in a group called “The Hoodstars,” which was made up of members: Lou$tar, Safaree Samuels, Nicki and 7even Up.
7even Up recently sat down with VLadTV and opened up about some of Nicki’s fuzzy past.

“That was my sister,” he said, bringing up the times that she bailed him out of jail, helped him through surgery, and went to Cony Island. He said they were very close and bonded together well, but they also got in a lot of trouble together.
Apparently, 7even Up convinced Nicki to be his getaway driver for a robbery. “She was a G, Nicki ain’t soft man,” he said.
