Mystikal and two others have been charged in the Shreveport incident.
Mystikal has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of sexual assault and kidnapping. According to KSLA, the rapper was charged with first-degree sexual assault and second-degree kidnapping in connection with an incident in Caddo Parish, LA. The rapper’s bond has been set at $3 million.
In addition to Mystikal’s indcitment, two other people thought to be involved in the incident were also charged. Averweone Darnell Holman was hit with the same charges as Mystikal; Tenichia Monieck Wafford was indicted on an obstruction of justice charge.
Wafford’s charge stems from her attempts to convince the victim not to press charges. Wafford denies that she ever tried to persuade the victim to not press charges, saying that she was merely checking on her friend after a night out.
Wafford also maintains that the victim in this case told her that nothing happened between Mystikal, Holman and herself.
“Ain’t nobody did none of that, girl,” she said in a video shared by TMZ. “And yes, I got it on record that she said ain’t nobody did nothing to her.”
Wafford added that she wouldn’t have called the victim if she knew how things were going to play out. “That threw me for a loop,” she said. “If I would of knew all that, I wouldn’t have even called her. I just called to check up on a friend. That’s all I was doing.”
Wafford also claims that the victim has changed her story.
“She trying to protect her boyfriend because she ditched him all night to be with another n*gga,” she said. “And now all of a sudden somebody hurt her. But when I called her and asked her if somebody hurt her, she said ain’t nobody hurt her. So now, all of a sudden, I got a charge because I called her, I called a friend, to ask ‘Are you ok?’”

Other people who were around the trio that night claim that nothing happened.
“3 innocent people are in jail because this 1 girl trying to find a way to get some money. She was ditching her boyfriend to be all up on my brother Lil Hood all night,” wrote a friend of Holman’s on social media. “She offer them some sex and since her boyfriend caught her she trying to flip the script to save her relationship. Now she tryin to take an advantage to get some money. We also have evidence of her coming on to my bro that night. My brother did not do nothing wrong that night, she was just being a hoe that night and got caught by her boyfriend.”
Wafford, like Mystikal, turned herself in to authorities to face charges. In the video, she became visibly upset when discussing the process.
“That sh*t hurt me. Now I gotta go down here and turn in my motherf*cking self and clear my motherf*cking name all because I’m checking on somebody to see if somebody okay,” Wafford said.
Mystikal has been charged with s-x crimes in the past. The “Danger” rapper was charged with aggravated r-pe in the early 2000s. He pled guilty to lesser charges of sexual battery and extortion, earning a six year sentence that began in 2004. He served all six years and was released in 2010, with the condition that he would have to register as a sex-offender.
