Shooting Down the Rumors
The new Tupac movie is getting some great reviews, but it’s also getting some bad ones. While it sits around 20% on Rotten Tomatoes, there are still plenty of people that will tell you it was a great film. On the other hand, celebrities like 50 Cent and Jada Pinkett Smith have been dissing the film and saying it’s inaccurate. Fans were talking about how they thought Tupac had been taken advantage of while he was in prison, and the movie’s producer denied those rumors. When fans called for proof, he posted a video to his Instagram account.
The producer from All Eyez On Me took to Instagram to try and shut down some crazy claims about Tupac. Some people thought that Tupac was actually raped in prison, while others think that the rumor is completely insane.
Producer L.T. Hutton didn’t need to say much to get his point across, instead he just posted a rare interview with the rap legend that not many people had seen.
No Caption Needed
“#facts !!!!!! NO CAPTION NEEDED !” Hutton wrote as his caption to the video. The clip was of one of Tupac’s interviews with Vibe, and you can clearly see the rapper denying the rumors right to the camera.
After Tupac got out of prison he seemed to be a different person, and he knew that. He did a few interviews after he got out, and it showed the fans how he was an angrier and more aggressive person right out of the clink.
“I will be dead before…”
He ranted to the interviewer saying:
“They had little girls writing to me crying, saying ‘You got raped in jail, I’m so sorry,’ that sh*t right there is what will fuel the anger that will never die. I had to write letters to a thousand little kids explaining to them that I will be dead before a motherf**ker will rape me. And you know that. So as far as everybody there is no mercy in my heart. You know what I mean? I’m not out here on no wild sh*t like I was before. This is not the same Tupac, believe me. I’m just very pissed off.”
