Baby Mama Drama
Lil Wayne currently has four children, each by a different mother. Depending on how things work out, Wayne might have to make an addition to his family tree.
Back in 2015, a woman by the name of Keiotia Watson made claims recorded in legal documents that Lil Wayne is the father of her son, Dwayne. A Louisiana judge ruled in favor of Watson and allegedly ordered Wayne to pay her $5k a month.
The Court Order
The order itself wasn’t enough to make Wayne pay. To this day, its reported that Wayne still hasn’t payed a dime to Keiotia, claiming that he was never served legal papers or notified that he was in fact the child’s legal father. The same report also claims that Wayne planned on taking a paternity test and was willing to take full responsibility for the child if the test was positive.
Now, those 2015 claims are coming to prominence once again amid new trial, which includes a court order for Wayne to submit to a DNA paternity test. Keiotia Watson claims to have had sexual relations with Wayne back in 2001. Giving birth to Dwayne in February 2002, this makes her son 16 years old. If this case is drawn out for much longer, Watson runs a high chance of not receiving any type payment, as child support usually ends around the time of the child’s high school graduation.
Even if Wayne is contesting these charges, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s incapable of stepping up to the plate when he needs to. His first baby mama, Antonia Wright, has gone on the record to say kind things about Wayne and comment on the strength of their friendship, regardless of the fact they are not married.
Their child, Reginae Carter, doesn’t seem to have any major issues when it comes to her relationship with her father. If she does, she’s been able to keep it out of the public eye to a certain extent.
A similar situation seems to be the case with another one of Wayne’s baby mamas. Actress Lauren London gave birth to Wayne’s third child in 2009, and has defended Wayne as a father in the press. In an interview with kathleencross.com, London had this to say about Wayne:
“I met Dwayne when I was 15 years old. I’ve known him a very long time, and we were in a relationship that didn’t make it. We tried more than once to revive it, and we were engaged briefly years ago, but we eventually parted ways. People see the ‘Lil’ Wayne’ persona and think they know who he really is. My son’s father is an intelligent, loving and lovable person who will always be a dear friend. That is all.”
