He even took a lie detector test
Lil Mo may have just joined the cast of Love & Hip-Hop: New York, but her relationship with hubby Karl Dargan has already provided several seasons worth of drama.
Mo’s son Justin came up with some seemingly incriminating Google search results by looking up the boxer’s name, and he told Mo that he’d take a polygraph test to lay her fears to rest. However, they kept it real(ity TV) and decided to get the polygraph as part of a daytime court show.
Mo and Dargan went on Couples Court With the Cutlers to hash it all out.
Every year, it happens at the same time,” Mo said of Dargan’s wandering. “And then people always slide me a message — this one lady said, somebody was just like, ‘Hey. Pay me this amount to make it go away.'”
However, Mo wasn’t about to be the victim of a shakedown. She told the court that these women need to find a better way to make money (or at least get better at this hustle). She explained:
“I said, ‘Well, you should have got some money if you were allegedly with him, whatever the case may be, because you ain’t getting a dime from me.[…] You ain’t go no Facetime calls. You ain’t got ya’ll laid up in the bed — because you know that’s what they do now. You close your eyes for two seconds, you all over — the, ‘He fell asleep in this thang!’ Yeah, okay. Alright. If you can get him, you can have him — but be sure you can handle these bills because it ain’t even him you gotta deal with. You gotta deal with all of us.”
“I was a THOT”
Dargan denied the claims of infidelity even as he admitted that he used to be unfaithful in the past. He also admitted that he used to sleep around, but swore before the pair of judges that he’s a changed man.
“I used to be out here. I used to be out here dealing with multiple women at times, you know, five/six women at one time. Basically, I was a THOT. I had no intentions of getting married, I had no intentions on ever being with one woman but I was trying to work on it and I told her, listen, I’m out here. It’s not an overnight process but I’ll try the best I can. I slipped up and got caught up.”
What We Know
The new clips shared by the show from the two-part special don’t reveal the juiciest bit of information — namely, what came out of the lie detector test — but they still provide plenty of fuel for the gossip furnaces that keep the chatty side of the internet up and running.
There are texts to a woman that some less scrupulous sites claim came from Dargan, but they are seven different kinds of fishy and there’s no way to verify when they were sent. There’s enough gossip here without getting into hoaxes.
