Come on, man
Gunplay might be in a bit of legal trouble for busting out an unorthodox move in a recent argument. According to police reports obtained by The Blast, the rapper and Love & Hip Hop: Miami star headbutted his ex-girlfriend outside of a nightclub.
The gossip website says that Gunplay and his current lady Keyara went to a strip club called The Office on Jan. 1. One of the performers that night was Gunplay’s ex, Aneka Johnston. Their chance encounter did not go well.
The police report claims that Gunplay and Johnston started up a “verbal dispute in regards to relationship issue. At some point during the tiff, the rapper “became irate and struck Miss Johnston upon her face with his head.”
That’s police-talk for he headbutted a woman outside of a strip club. According to The Blast, Johnston drove to a nearby hospital and was treated for bruising and a scratched cornea.
The case has bent sent to the Florida State Attorney with a recommended charge of misdemeanor battery. There’s no telling just yet if the charge will hamper his ability to be a member of Love & Hip Hop’s latest offshoot. And we don’t know if Gunplay’s outburst was caught by the reality show’s cameras.
But even if he’s forced to step away from the show, LHHM has storylines for days. Let’s start with Trick Daddy trying to make his way back after taking years off to deal with lupus.
“I stopped taking any medicine that they was giving me,” Trick told HipHopDX, “because for every medicine they gave me I had to take a test or another medicine every thirty days or so to make sure that medicine wasn’t causing side effects – dealing with kidney or liver failure…I just said all together I ain’t taking no medicine.”
Trick Daddy Dollaz seems to have found a regimen that works for him, though. And who doesn’t love a comeback story?
Trick told VH1 in cast intro videos that he’s as healthy as he’s ever been. He even told them he’s at his “highest s*x peak.” And if Trick can’t pick up the slack, Trina certainly will.
That’s a fact that Trick is fully aware of. Just listen to his description of the self-proclaimed baddest b*tch in a recent interview.
“Trina was saying the things way worse than Kim did it. Lil Kim did it with class. Trina did it from right here. ‘F**k bout five or six friends.’ One of my favorite artists Foxy she never was that ghetto girl that be in my mind because she finessed the mic so well. Trina just did it a whole different way. To every man, every girl wanted to be Trina, and every man wanted to be with Trina. If Trina was a Kardashian, she’d be the richest Kardashian.”
All this is to say, Mona is going to be fine. She knows how to build up a machine out of many moving parts that can chug along even when one or two pieces drop out. Her franchise is malleable, if nothing else.
