"Careless" and "Selfish"
Last week, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta viewers got to see Kirk sit Rasheeda down, readying himself to tell her what anyone who’s been paying attention most likely already knows. On Tuesday’s (March 20) episode, Kirk will let those fateful words come out of his mouth.
“The results did come back, and it is me,” Kirk tells his wife in the latest preview. Rasheeda, who has been married to Kirk for nearly 19 years, quietly takes a deep breath, before calling Kirk’s actions “careless” and “selfish.”
“Not only some ol f**king girl, now it’s a child, a innocent child. Can you move in? Nah,” Rasheeda says to Kirk. “But it ain’t even about me. It’s about our kids.” The Pressed boutique owner goes on to say that the children they have together look at Kirk like “Man of the Year,” before telling Kirk that they deserve better from him.
In her confessional, the mom-of-two says she’s “not at all surprised to hear that the baby is Kirk’s.” “But I’m ain’t gon’ lie,” she continues. “Getting the confirmation that it’s definitely true is a big a** punch to the gut. Little bit of hope I had, thinking we could forget about this whole thing, is all gone now.”
“Forgiving him is one thing but how she planning on trusting him ever again smh,” wrote an Instagram user. “You can tell she already knew but that hurt in her face is real,” said another.
Regardless of how anyone feels about it, Jasmine Bleu — who has been adamant that Kirk was the father of her son Kannon from the very beginning — can possibly finally get some acknowledgment. That may be all the mom-of-one gets though, as the lawsuit against him from Jasmine was tossed out by a Gwinnett County family court late last year.
The former stripper filed a paternity suit against Frost after they ended what she claimed was an extramarital relationship. She said that Frost paid for her and Kannon’s expenses during the time of their affair and was suing for child support now that that arrangement had ended.
Family Court Judge Debra Turner gave Jasmine two weeks to track down Frost and serve him with papers. However, he managed to duck the papers for months. Though he was successfully served eventually, according to Bossip, it came several months past the judge’s deadline.
Kirk may have dogged a new bill, but the damage has already been done with regards to his estranged wife. Though the couple has yet to file for a legal divorce, Rasheeda left Kirk over Jasmine’s allegations.
“We’re separated, and we’re working on making sure that we’re doing everything that we need to do for our family,” Rasheeda revealed that the pair were separated on an episode of Dish Nation. “We are parenting very well,” she added. “We have good communication. We’re two people trying to figure out the best thing to do for our children.”
The mom went on to say that she’s not looking to jump into another relationship, opting to focus on her business and her children. “I’m not interested in anything like that. I’m just focusing on expanding my business, and growing, and just being the best mom I can be,” she said.
