Not that some fans really needed a test to know if Kirk Frost was the father of Jasmine Washington’s son Kannon or not, but nevertheless… The results from the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star’s paternity test are in. According to the promo for the show’s next season, Kirk sat Rasheeda, his wife of nearly 19 years, down to tell her what anyone who’s been paying attention most likely already knows.
But, wait… There’s more. LHHATL‘s trailer for season seven gave everyone something to gasp over, showing Jasmine herself walking into Rasheeda’s boutique, Pressed.
The back and forth between Jasmine and Kirk can finally rest. The exchange was becoming exhausting anyway. Now everyone involved (and every fan watching) will finally know the truth beyond a shadow of a doubt. Of course, the trailer didn’t spill the news out right though.
What the video did show was Kirk’s alleged side-piece/alleged baby-mama strutting into Pressed like she owned the place. After (unnecessarily) introducing herself to Rasheeda’s mom, who was sitting at the register, Jasmine asked, “Is Rasheeda available by any chance?”
The clip doesn’t show what Jasmine wanted with the mother-of-two. Instead, it cuts to Rasheeda telling Kirk that the “b**tch” needs to stay in her lane.
“B**ch need to get in her place, and don’t be walking up in there, talking ’bout she looking for me. You ain’t looking for me,” Rasheeda said to Kirk. Kirk responded in a much calmer voice than his wife’s, saying that he doesn’t why Jasmine would do that. He goes on to tell her about the test results, choosing that conversation to reveal whether or not he’s the father of Jasmine’s toddler-aged son.
Although, even if he is the father, the lawsuit against him from Jasmine was tossed out by a Gwinnett County family court late last year.
How to Lose a Wife
The mother-of-one filed a paternity suit against Frost after they ended what she claimed was an extramarital relationship. She said that Frost paid for her and Kannon’s expenses during the time of their affair and was suing for child support now that that arrangement had ended.
Family Court Judge Debra Turner gave Jasmine two weeks to track down Frost and serve him with papers. However, he managed to duck the papers for months. Though he was successfully served eventually, according to Bossip, it came several months past the judge’s deadline.
Kirk may have dogged a new bill, but the damage has already been done with regards to his estranged wife. Though the couple has yet to file for a legal divorce, Rasheeda left Kirk over Jasmine’s allegations.
