For the violation, the 20-year-old was given 30 days outside of general population. Though Kodak reportedly went into the hole without issue, he filed a request for a judge to let his tutor visit him while in solitary confinement. According to TMZ, the rapper asked for permission to have a laptop and other materials before being hauled off to prison, as Kodak was trying to earn his GED.
The Flordia native had only been away a few weeks at the time, as he was arrested in January 2018. After police raided his house, hitting him with several charges, Kodak was taken into custody. At the time, he was serving a year on house arrest after being released from jail in the summer of 2017, while also on probation and facing sexual assault charges in South Carolina.
