Keyshia spilled to 'The Breakfast Club'
Keyshia Ka’oir stopped by The Breakfast Club recently. While the majority of the interview centered around her new marriage to Gucci Mane, you know that rumor about her having kids back in Jamaica had to come up.
Ka’oir stuck to her guns, shutting down the rumors in the same way that she did last week on Twitter. She dropped some evidence on the rumor-mongers that will hopefully put the story to bed for good.
Ka’oir told the hosts that she left Jamaica when she was very young, so the idea of her having multiple children on the island is completely ridiculous.
“I came to Miami when I was 10,” said Keyshia. “[It’s] absolutely false.”
Is this enough?
Keyshia admitted that she does have children, as does Guwop, she’s kept them away from the cameras in the hopes that they will be able to have a normal childhood despite their mother’s fame.
“Gucci and I both have children, we do,” said Keyshia. “It’s a situation where I’m proud to be a mother but at the same time I need it to be private. I don’t want kids in the limelight, I don’t want them on social media. I want them to go to school and just be children.”
Keyshia added that the story of her leaving children with her mother is a lie. Though the kids are rarely seen, Ka’oir says that they all live together. She added that everyone of her kids was at their spectacle of a wedding.
“It’s a never a situation where they’re left with my mom,” said Keyshia. “They all live with us. We have a blended family and we have fun, they spoiled and they happy. They were ALL at the wedding.”
She said that the woman who is claiming to be her family member in all of the conspiracy-peddling stories is actually an ex-friend of hers who is selling fake news for money.
“We’ve been told that the day we got married, blogs were being paid to discredit our wedding,” said Keyshia. “To discredit me and discredit our marriage. It spiraled while we were getting married on TV. People are evil, Angela.”
One of her most vocal detractors is Khia. The rapper and gossipy Instagram personality went on a rant begging Ka’oir for proof:
“I wanna know where is your real friends at back in Jamaica. Where is your children, girl? Where is your real family? The people you growed up with in before you went and got all this sh*t done to your face. I know it’s some b*tches that you growed up with…the goat herders, the people that went fishing and made sure you had fish and porridge to eat.”
If she left at 10, the number of people who she could point to “back home” should be considerably smaller. Then again, calling it “back home” might be a stretch in the first place, considering she left when she was just a child.
