It’s a bloodbath over at Love & Hip Hop:Hollywood as several big names are rumored to be out of the long-running reality franchise. According to The Jasmine Brand Keyshia Cole is leaving LHHH as of this season.
If true, she’d be following series stalwart Masika Kalysha out the door. The baby mama to one of Fetty Wap’s innumerable children is rumored to be done with the franchise as well.
During her time on the show, Cole has definitely dealt with drama. But it all seems to be outside the LHHH bubble. Most recently, she recently had her dancers quit on her during a trip to South Korea. While Cole attempted to play up the move as a testament to her dedication to her fans, the dancers and their families were alleging that the walkout came because Cole’s team wasn’t paying them.
“Korea was sweet. I went all the way there to perform. My dancers quit at the last minute knowing the show was booked weeks prior!” she wrote on Instagram. “My DJ couldn’t fly overseas and wasn’t feeling 100% but I went on stage and sung anyway! Korea has supported my talent for years and I’m very grateful.”
But a person claiming to be connected to the dancers countered that narrative in a comment.
“Last minute was how they were getting paid,” wrote user @215ryanbrooks in a since-deleted comment. They continued:
“My godson @rameer_colon was one of your very talented and amazing dancers. He loves what he does and always gave 100% You were great but your management team is a**. No way my child should practice for hours, kill the performance and then have to wait weeks after his scheduled pay date. Just as well as you wanna be compensated and require partial payment fir appearances ON TIME, so do these dancers. If all three of your dancers quit, it has to be a good reason that doesn’t fall on them. […] These boys have yet to get paid the two checks they were owed.”
If that wasn’t enough, Cole was recently forced to fork over $100K for an alleged assault at Birdman’s house. Maybe she should hold on to those Mona Scott-Young check’s a little longer.
It seems like everyone is getting out of the reality TV game. Reginae Carter and Toya Wright recently announced they are leaving their own show,
Growing Up Hip Hop.
The move stemmed from an argument that Reginae feels was edited to portray her in a negative way.
“It didn’t go like this,” Reginae wrote on Twitter. “This will be my last season.”
Toya backed up her daughter.
“I’m sick of y’all making my baby look like a f**king Brat!” she said. “This is not what happened at this dinner. I’m so sick of this s**t. I was giving y’all a chance to get it right. Enough is enough!”
“Then y’all using old interviews. I’m so over it,” she added. “I put up with the BS last season. I refuse to let y’all play me and my child like I raised a direspectful [sic] brat. The editing on this show is f**king ridiculous. Enough is enough. Please don’t call us next season.”
“Please don’t call us to come back,” she concluded. “We done!”
