K. Michelle hasn’t been as active on social media since she had her butt implants removed, but a new morning thirst trap that the singer shared is giving her fans a good glimpse of what the good Lord gave her.
K. Michelle took the step to get her implants removed, saying that she’s no longer the person who was in the headspace to think that she needed them. In an interview with xoNecole, she walked through the painful process that led to her getting the implants in the first place.
“I remember looking at the beautiful models [on Instagram] and thought how I didn’t look like them at all and I thought they were naturally born like that! I picked on everything on my body; teeth, waist, [chest], bottom, but I still was looking at this hurt person,” she said.
Her advice for other women was to reevaluate what’s pushing them toward getting the surgery in the first place. If it’s entirely for themselves, then keep it moving. But if you feel that you’re being pushed toward the surgery because of how other people think about you, then you should probably call it off.
“Get to the core of what’s making them have low self-esteem. What happened in your life that made you feel that way?” she said. “For me, it was a lack of love for myself from men and it made me feel worthless and you got to get a grip on you. If you want a new butt, get that, but take it from me, don’t get so depressed and feel as if you’re not worthy because we’re all here for a reason. But you have to determine why. Why do you want that? I know I did and it wasn’t for the right reason.”
And K. Michelle should know, she’s been down this road before. Here’s what she had to say about her first reduction.
“For me, I want my normal shape back. I don’t need to have a man looking down at my a** when I’m trying to talk numbers. I don’t need to not be able to get the role. Like, I wanna be in Jurassic Park! Let me be in Jurassic Park! I don’t need to not be able to run through Jurassic Park because my a** is too heavy. Before the dinosaurs come to eat me, I need to be able to go!”

Hopefully, her decision to go with the reduction sticks better than the choice to change her name. Like almost all name changes by famous folks, it seems like she’s stuck with K. Michelle just because that’s what the entire world already knows her as. Young Thug tried it. Snoop tried it. Diddy tried it one too many times.
Anyway, it doesn’t look like K has enough clout to pull the name change off, but we’ll see if she can. She’s certainly determined even if the dedication doesn’t extend to changing her Instagram handle.
“No more K. Michelle. K. Michelle… peace. I’m going back to me, going back to who I am,” she announced in an Instagram video. “Kimberly. 2018. Remember. I’m not answering to K. Michelle.”
We wish her the best of luck, but we don’t think it’s going to happen.
