Following the birth of their first child, the rumor mill is now saying that Joe Budden and Cyn Santana secretly got married! Shortly after their baby boy met the world, Cyn tweeted out a sweet message to her “beautiful husband.”
“And thank you to my beautiful husband @JoeBudden I love you SO much Joseph. I seriously couldn’t have done this without you,” she wrote. That same day, Joe referred to the women everyone thought of as his girlfriend as his wife. “Cuz I’m in the room with my wife,” he tweeted in reply to fan.
They could just be calling each other husband and wife prematurely, but the internet is going to go ahead and say they tied the knot on the down low.
Cyn and Joe are likely unconcerned about the internet or its theories. They have a newborn to take care of, after all. Joe’s second child was born shortly after Cyn went into labor Sunday (Dec. 17).
“Bout to meet the love of my life with the love of my life!!!! You’re too dope God,” Cyn tweeted while en route to the hospital. “Shout out to all the mommas…. god bless y’all for real.”
The parents announced that their baby boy had arrived yesterday (Dec. 18). Alongside a black and white photo of her newborn son clutching her finger, she wrote, “Happy birthday baby boy. We love you so much.”
Joe welcomed his latest child with a series of Instagram photos, showing off his sentimental side. The Everyday Struggle host shared a photo of his own dad holding him after he was born in 1980, a photo of himself holding Trey Budden (his first-born son) in 2001, and, lastly, a picture of himself holding his newborn.
The ode to the passing of time touched hearts, with fans showering the retired rapper with lots of congratulations. Joe’s sentimental moment was fleeting though. He made sure to remind everyone that he’s still Joe Budden, even on a heartwarming day like the birthday of his son.
He posted an Instagram live video from the delivery room, showing him playfully messing with his girlfriend/possibly wife. As she was arguing with him about whether or not the carseat was all good in the car, he picked on her.
“I’m spending the night in the hospital trying to be supportive,” he said. “She talking bout a f**king car seat. What car seat?”
“You push,” he continued. “You got s**t to worry about over there.”
Maybe a new baby will soften Joe up some, encouraging him to let go of his disdain for mumble rappers, a group he collectively calls “The Lils.” Then again, even if he does, he may not spare the Migos. After Quavo sent some serious shots Joe’s way, their beef may be solidified for good.
Quality Control Music just released their highly anticipated Control the Streets Vol. 1 compilation album, featuring several different artists on the label. Early on in the album, Quavo and Lil Yatchy — another known nemesis of Joe’s — collab on “Ice Tray.”
On the track, Quavo raps:
“Ice tray on n**ga, flooded
If a n**ga hatin’, call him Joe Budden (p**sy)
Coupe outside and it’s press-button
Had that n**ga mad cause your b*tch f**kin’”
Of course, Joe responded. Before wondering why Quavo waited so long to come for him, Joe tweeted, “Quavo want smoke? Lol.” He then mentioned Quavoed in a separate tweet, quoting Kanye West. “@QuavoStuntin i am your OG & you will respect me as such,” he wrote.
