Never saw this coming.
Young M.A is fairly new to the rap scene but she isn’t new to her lifestyle: The 20-something rapper has been openly gay since her music hit the airwaves. She is very vocal about being very securd in her sexuality. In her song, “Dreams,” she talks about having “dreams of f**king an industry b*tch” before listing names of female celebrities she’s attracted to.
Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Amber Rose, and Blac Chyna are amongst the women who made the list. So as you can see, she doesn’t hold back. But contrary to M.A’s raunchy lyrics, someone in the hip-hop industry is calling her out for faking the funk. That’s right. This female rapper is accusing Young M.A of pretending to be a lesbian.
Mulann Milla VS M.A
Female rapper Mulann Milla has been accusing M.A of stealing her tomboy swag to sell music. Milla, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, seems to be pissed that young M.A rose to the top as an openly gay artist — something that was destined for Mulla.
Milla went as far as calling M.A a liar about her sexuality. Mulla says that M.A isn’t even a lesbian and that she’s just been faking it to further her career. Well, if that’s what acting looks like, then M.A definitely needs an Oscar. But there’s more to the story than Milla calling M.A out about swag stealing.
In 2015, Milla released a diss track aimed to the “OOUUU” rapper. Flowing over Drake’s “Back 2 Back” track, Milla sends straight shots to M.A, calling her out for stuntin’ and rapping about things that she’s never really gone through, like drug, violence, lesbianism.
“Young ma, who you putting’ on a front for/ Tryna impress them with an image that is not yours / I know your background: tight jeans, lip gloss, tight shirt, pin curls, you probably don’t even like girls,” she rapped.
