Tales of Glory
Irv Gotti has been in the news recently for quite a few things. He recently had to defend a crazy lynching scene in his TV show Tales, and he also revealed that he was getting it on with Ashanti back in the day. What’s he up to now? The TV show has taken off and produced a huge fanbase, but when it comes to Tupac episodes, he may have hit an unwanted speed bump.
Irv has been pushing hard to promote his new Hip Hop series Tales on BET, and he’s doing a pretty good job of it so far. He takes classic Hip Hop songs and turns them into episodes for the show. Gotti recently posted a classic picture of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur that showed him after he was shot at Quad Studios.
The caption read “Tupac. Immortal. Icon.” Fans seemed to like the idea of giving Tupac an episode in the show, but what song would he use to tell the best story?
One fan commented, saying that Irv needs to make a “Dear Mama” episode for the show. Irv said he tried to make a Tupac episode at one point.
“I tried to do ‘Ambitionz Az a Ridah’ man. But when his mom died. His estate is in shambles with people fighting over who owns it. So I couldn’t get the clearance. I’m hoping it will be situated for next year. Ya’ll know I love Pac man,” he said.
He went even further into it when another fan asked about the same topic. “When his mom died. She was still legally married to someone she was getting a divorce from. And I believe that man was to own a piece of Pacs estate. I am not 100% sure. But it’s something like that,” he said.
The year of 2017 has basically been the year of Tupac. With all the news surrounding his death rumors, the biopic All Eyez On Me, and now this; he’s keeping his name alive in the headlines.
