Rapper G-Eazy is now in police custody after being arrested for assault and drug possession. According to reports, the artist (née Gerald Earl Gillum) was wilding out in a Stockholm club.
Things went all the way down hill after the venue’s security detail got involved.
As the Story Goes…
According to TMZ, G-Eazy was arrested in Sweden after partying too hard following his performance in Stockholm Wednesday. Just before his arrest, G was said to be passing out shots in the company of his girlfriend Halsey and Sean Kingston.
The rapper, who was reportedly asked by guards to settle down several times, physically attacked security authorities.
Once he was detained by police, officers are said to have found cocaine in his pocket. TMZ‘s insiders say “he was taken into custody on suspicion of assault, possession of narcotics and use of narcotics.”
In a video obtained by the gossip outlet, viewers can see that Halsey saying she was hit in the face. That same clip shows the “No Limit” artist being put into a police vehicle.
No further details on the situation have been released.
This news comes after reports that Halsey suffered a miscarriage.
After visiting The Doctors, a talk show hosted by board certified doctors and physicians, it seems Halsey is a little closer to her female fans. The “Now or Never” artist spoke candidly about her experience with endometriosis, a condition where tissue grows outside the uterus rather than inside, which is diagnosed to one in 10 women.
“The thing with endometriosis is that it comes down to that doctors can tend to minimize the female experience when it comes to dealing with it,” Halsey — who wasn’t properly diagnosed until after she passed out in front of her tour bus in 2017 — explained. “A lot of the time they can make you think it’s in your head.”
The miscarriage took place only months after her diagnosis. “I was on tour, and I found out I was pregnant. And before I could really figure out what that meant to me and what that meant for my future, for my career, for my life, for my relationship, the next thing I knew I was on stage miscarrying in the middle of my concert,” she said.
The loss led her to take her situation more seriously, undergoing surgery and getting an IUD afterwards. The 23-year-old also froze her eggs as a method to ensure a “bright future.”
In the most relatable way possible, the star spoke about feeling “like less of women” while battling reproductive issues. “Reproductive illness is so frustrating because it can really make you feel like less of a woman,” she began. “There’s a lot of times when you’re sitting at home and you just feel so terrible about yourself. You’re sick, you don’t feel sexy, you don’t feel proud, you don’t feel like there’s much hope.”
She went on to say that being progressive and “taking these measures” is her way of looking out for her future self.
