This is not a pretty sight.
Future and Ciara just can’t seem to co-exist without some sort of drama between them. The former engaged couple have been going back-and-forth in court over the custody of their son, Baby Future, and it hasn’t been pretty. While Future was granted joint custody of the 2-year-old boy, CiCi is still moving forward with a multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit against the father of her child. The lawsuit, however, is bringing alive a lot more than meets the eye, as Ciara is claiming that Future may try to murder her new fiancé, Russell Wilson.
Ciara and Future Are Currently in a Bitter Legal Battle
The former couple is going head-to-head in court after Ciara filed a defamation lawsuit against the Atlanta rapper. Recent reports say that the singer is using the lawsuit to shine light on lyrics by Future on DJ Esco’s newest mixtape that may imply he wants to murder Russell Wilson.
Ciara Allegedly Believes That Future Wants to Murder Russell Wilson
The lyrics performed by Future read as, “Tryna f*** my baby mama, dog what’s up with you? You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you.” Ciara also points out in the lawsuit that Future once posted a caption on his Instagram that showed a gun emoji pointing at a football emoji. Ciara calls the actions “frightening” and “socially irresponsible…where there has been a recent rash of gun violence.”
Future Thinks the Allegations Are Just A “Smear Campaign”
A source told HollywoodLife.com, “Ciara is just trying to smear Future’s name as best as she can by any means necessary. Future’s hard knock days are behind him and there’s no way in hell he’d lay a finger on her fiance. Future’s career and his children mean more than life itself to him and there’s no way he’d let Russell Wilson interfere with his goals…Future’s not going to let her win this smear campaign.”
