Doing Too Much
Drake started some chatter recently at his Houston Appreciation Weekend event over the weekend. He had an interesting plan to “retire” some of the city’s most popular strippers; this included Lira Galore, Miracle Watts, and Maliah Michel.
If you’ve been following Drizzy for a while, you probably remember his lyric about Maliah in his song “Miss Me” from his album Thank Me Later. “Someone tell Maliah I’m on fire, she should work tonight,” he rapped. Check out what Maliah has to say about Drake trying to retire her…
Drake made a pretty big deal out of the retirement; he even got jerseys for each of the strippers to officially “retire” them. Although, stripper extraordinaire Maliah really didn’t seem to like the gesture from drake. After someone called it “good-intended” on a post by HotNewHipHop, she responded, “No f**king well intentions… eat a d*ck.”
“I have to say something and it’s from the bottom of my heart. I will be 34 in December. Do you know how good it feels to be able to walk in the club with girls 10 years plus younger than me and still be that b*tch? Y’all and say what you want or think what you want, but I call that blessed. And I was overweight. So this can be a career if you take care of yourself. Pay taxes and save your money,” she wrote.
She continued, saying that Drake even tried to make her stop dancing at one point.
“Y’all don’t know that n***a been trying to make me stop dancing. Always putting me down about it… Always telling me I’m not better than anyone else in the club selling ass instead of dancing. But n***a can’t stay in the club… Ya’ll just don’t know. My only regret is ever trying to explain how much I love dancing. And thinking so highly of him that I let his opinion of me mold my opinion of myself. F**k that and f**k you if you got a problem… I remember pleading with him to understand. I said Beyoncé wears the same kind of stuff I wear… No matter how light I tried to make things. Just always mean and hurtful. But whatever I’m done,” she wrote.
