Making It Drizzle
Drake has been known to have some interesting opinions on what other rappers have to say. This time around he’s being a little subtle about it. Jay-Z has made a pretty big impact on the hip hop world over the past few decades, but is Drake pushing him aside? Drizzy has been killing it on the charts for the past few years in a way that not many people have ever done. Check out what he has to say about Jay’s lyrics.
Drake has a pretty interesting personality. Ever since he became the superstar he is today, he has a way of doing whatever he wants and not caring about what anyone else has to say. This is a perfect example of that, and it has Jay-Z fans all riled up.
Can putting a stack of bills up to your ear really be such a big deal when it comes to rap? Apparently so.
Drake has been having some fun in Houston at his annual Houston Appreciation Weekend event that he puts on every year. This time around he “retired the jerseys” of Houston Strippers Lira Galore, Miracle Watts, and Maliah Michel.
At the same time, he was spotted doing some interesting things with some stacks of money, and thankfully it was all caught on video.
Drake takes the two huge stacks of cash, one in each hand and says “What they say, don’t put those to your ear? I didn’t hear that.”
He’s obviously talking about one of Jay-Z’s new songs on his 4:44 album. In the song “The Story of O.J.,” Jay raps, “Ya’ll on the ‘Gram holdin money to your ear, there’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.”
